Marlo Bromley

Marlo Bromley is the Director and a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng). He is involved in all aspects of project workflow for the company. Marlo has been with DTCE since 2012.

Marlo grew up in Taupo, studied at Canterbury, and has been working on all sizes and types of structures in the company for several years now. He is committed to ensuring client satisfaction and ensures the team performs to the highest standard.

Kyle Nicholson

Kyle has been with DTCE since 2010, and is one of our resident civil engineering experts. Kyle is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng). He has recently been involved with a number of large seismic assessments and retrofits, and was heavily involved with the reporting and assessing of multiple structures in the Wellington region after the 2016 Kaikoura Earthquake.

Lee Huang

Originally from the southwest of China, Lee has been with DTCE since 2013. Lee has a strong academic focus, leading the office in the use of the most recent analysis and design approaches, including performance and displacement based seismic design. He is a key engineer for commercial development, seismic assessment and strengthening. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).

Lee has a passion for snow sports, and regularly joins on staff snowboard/skiing trips. He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese. 我说中文

Kyrilos Kourtidis

Kyrilos was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he ran his own consultancy for many years. Since joining our team in 2012, he has become our expert in assessing and retrofitting brick structures using a wide variety of techniques. Kyrilos is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).

Kyrilos can provide cost effective solutions for complicated projects and brings decades of experience to all alterations he carries out.

Henry Nguyen

Originally from Vietnam, Henry has been with DTCE since 2016. Henry has played a pivotal role in reporting on damaged structures after the Kaikoura Earthquake, working with insurance assessors, the EQC, and clients to determine the extent of seismic design and efficient and effective remedial work.

Adam Webber

Adam started at DTCE in 2016 and has worked extensively on new residential construction and on building investigations.

​

He is an avid sports fan, regularly attending rugby games at the stadium. In his free time, Adam enjoys socialising with friends and family and isn’t shy of a bit of DIY around the house.  

Josh Jagers

Josh joined us in early 2016. Josh has a keen eye for detail and a perfectionist streak, which he uses to help spearheaded  improvements in our standards and systems.

He is a keen basketball & netball player who also enjoys snow & skateboarding on the weekends.

Cheasel Chen

Cheasel started at DTCE in 

Igor Ametshaev

Igor has been with DTCE since the end of 2019. He is an expert drafter, doing work in Revit, providing 2D and 3D models for most of our projects, and collaborates with our engineers, to produce professional, easily read drawings.

​

In his spare time, he loves exploring wild and hidden places in New Zealand. Also, his passion is spearfishing and mountain biking!

Igor speaks Russian and German.

Romy Bromley

Joining our practice in 2016, Romy has been the driving force behind a lot of the changes and improvements to the company over the last couple of years.

He also helps manage projects, and our website, and provides any design advice for marketing material released by the company.

Kerry Saul

Kerry has been with DTCE since 2008 and has been involved in customer service all her working life. She has a strong administrative focus, developing effective business connections between the engineers and the client.

She enjoys photography, and often takes staff photos at work and play.

Zilia Magdeeva

Zilia joined us in 2021 and she is our marketing and design guru. She helps the marketing team in developing and executing marketing campaigns, conducting market research, and creating marketing materials. Also, she helps with ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

​

Her passion is exploring New Zealand, and traveling. Zilia enjoys painting, knitting, graphic design, and photography.
