We carried out a seismic retrofit for a single-storey timber school building, targeting a minimum of 67% NBS. The design achieved around 90% NBS, significantly improving the building’s structural resilience.

The refurbishment included classrooms, a library, a resource room, an office, and WCs. The retrofit works strengthened the timber walls, upgraded the GIB lining capacity, and introduced new steel portal frames, significantly improving the building’s structural resilience and safety for occupants.
